Duties
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily business operations, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments.
- Supervise and motivate team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages high performance and professional growth.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training programmes, and performance evaluations to optimise team productivity.
- Manage sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies and monitoring progress regularly.
- Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Oversee merchandising activities to maintain visual appeal and stock organisation in line with brand guidelines.
- Handle administrative tasks such as stock control, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lead by example in demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills during customer interactions and internal communications.
- Collaborate with management on marketing initiatives, promotional activities, and store presentation enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times.
Skills
- Proven management experience with supervising teams within retail or similar environments.
- Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability in sales management, merchandising, and administrative responsibilities.
- Experience in retail management or related fields such as sales management is preferred.
- Ability to motivate teams, manage conflicts constructively, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette coupled with organisational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
