Role Overview
As a Senior Project Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering a diverse portfolio of engineering and manufacturing projects, ranging from short-duration activities to complex programmes lasting up to 18 months.
Working closely with Engineering, Production, Operations, Sales, customers and suppliers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams, managing risks and opportunities, and driving successful project outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate

Commercial experience delivering complex engineering, R&D, NPI or manufacturing projects.

Experience managing projects through the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to product realisation.

Proven experience delivering projects within an engineering and manufacturing environment.

Experience supporting bids, sales activities and project costing.

Strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across multiple departments and functions.

Experience engaging directly with customers and suppliers.

Working knowledge and application of structured project management methodologies.

Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.

Technical understanding of RF and electronic systems, including awareness of hardware and software interactions within product development.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will have experience managing products through the full development lifecycle, from concept and design through to product realisation and manufacture. You will possess a solid understanding of engineering and manufacturing project delivery, along with experience supporting bids, sales activities and project costing. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple departments, customers and suppliers. You will demonstrate a sound understanding of structured project management methodologies, coupled with strong commercial awareness and financial management capabilities. A technical understanding of RF and electronic systems, including the interaction between hardware and software elements during product development, is highly desirable.
