Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Execute MIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and finish metal parts.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations to ensure accurate fitting and alignment of components.
- Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into larger structures or systems.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety standards at all times.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Skills
- Proficiency in TIG welding with a strong understanding of welding standards.
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Solid knowledge of sheet metal work, assembly processes, and mechanical principles.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with using welding masks, clamps, grinders, drills, and other essential fabrication tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality welds and fabrications consistently.
- Good teamwork skills along with the ability to work independently when required.
