We are looking for a reliable, thorough and trustworthy cleaner to help us maintain an exceptionally clean and welcoming environment across our two dental practices in Thamesmead.
This is an important role within our team. As healthcare providers, we require consistently high standards of cleanliness, attention to detail and hygiene throughout both practices.
The role covers:
- Heronsgate Dental & Facial, SE28 0ER
- Clocktower Dental, SE28 8RA
You will work independently and will be responsible for completing all required cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard. Clear cleaning schedules, training and practice-specific guidance will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting dental surgeries, reception areas, waiting rooms, offices, staff areas and toilets
- Thoroughly cleaning high-touch surfaces and frequently used areas
- Vacuuming, mopping and cleaning floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with practice procedures
- Cleaning sinks, worktops, mirrors, doors and internal glass
- Restocking soap, paper products and other hygiene supplies
- Following the practice’s cleaning, health and safety, and infection-control procedures
- Reporting any damage, maintenance issues or low stock promptly
- Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed before leaving the premises
- Helping us maintain the professional, clean and welcoming environment our patients expect
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is dependable, punctual and able to commit to the agreed Tuesdays and Fridays
- Takes pride in their work and notices the small details
- Can work independently without constant supervision
- Can follow written cleaning schedules and instructions carefully
- Is trustworthy and respectful when working within clinical premises
- Can travel reliably between both Thamesmead locations
- Has the right to work in the UK
Previous experience cleaning a dental practice, medical facility or other healthcare environment would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Full guidance on our required cleaning procedures will be provided.
