About Us
Pawsitively Happy Dogs is an established, professional dog walking company based in Bath.
We pride ourselves on providing safe, enriching group adventures for friendly dogs who know one another well. Every walk is about much more than exercise – we focus on fun, enrichment, socialisation and building trusting relationships with every dog in our care.
Our wonderful clients trust us with members of their family, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same level of care and dedication.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll collect dogs from their homes before driving them to safe walking locations around Bath and the surrounding countryside.
Each day includes three one-hour group walks where you’ll:
- Walk and supervise small social groups of dogs
- Encourage safe play and enrichment
- Give the dogs plenty of affection and attention
- Take photos and videos for owners and our social media
- Return each dog home safely, happy and tired!
No two days are ever the same.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is genuinely passionate about dogs and animal welfare
- Loves being outdoors in all weather
- Is physically fit, active and enjoys walking every day
- Is friendly, confident and enjoys chatting with customers
- Is reliable, organised and professional
- Is keen to learn about dog behaviour and group management
- Enjoys taking photos and creating content for social media
- Holds a full UK driving licence
- Has their own reliable hatchback, estate car or MPV suitable for transporting dogs
- Can provide excellent references
- Is willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check
Previous experience working with dogs is an advantage, but it’s certainly not essential. We’re much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, kindness and enthusiasm, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Hours
Approximate working day:
7:30am – 5:00pm
The role consists of three one-hour group walks each day, with driving, collections and drop-offs between walks.
There are also overnight pet sitting opportunities.
Training
The successful applicant will begin in September 2026 and will attend a weekend training day before starting.
