CCL (North) Ltd is an electronic recycling company based in Irvine, Ayrshire, specialists in Secure Data Destruction, IT & WEEE recycling. As part of the Optimum Eco Group, we provide innovative solutions for the reuse, repair, refurbishment and recycling for all types of Electronic and Electrical equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to add Technicians to join our Refurbishment department. This role primarily involves the testing, cleaning and repair of electronic items.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identifying, recording and detailing equipment
· Testing and repairing items to a high standard
· Carrying out basic maintenance tasks and maintaining housekeeping standards
· Component and parts recovery for reuse or recycling
Required Skills:
· Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
· Endurance – manual handling and occasional heavy lifting will be involved along with being on your feet for most of the day
· Problem solving abilities and a technical background
· Computer Literate – experience in Microsoft Office packages
Our workload is demanding and our daily schedule can change at short notice, therefore this position would suit someone who is adaptable, able to cope with high volumes of work and can deal with emerging problems calmly and professionally. We're looking for team players with strong organisational skills and adaptable to change.
Prior experience within the electronics industry would be beneficial as would experience of using a stock management system, but is not essential – full training will be given to successful candidates.
Due to the nature of our business as a secure electronics recycling facility, we need candidates who are dependable, trustworthy and with the ability to uphold business and customer confidentiality.
Pay: £13.61 per hour
