Mead Accounting is a growing and family friendly firm of chartered certified accountants specialising in helping clients by providing a high standard of services. This would range from compliance accounts & tax return preparation through to providing internal finance functions to clients, including management accounting & payroll.
Our base is a modern office overlooking the beautiful countryside of Walsham le Willows - although we also travel to clients throughout the surrounding area when required.
Job Overview
We are seeking an Accounts Senior or Management Accountant/experienced Bookkeeper/Financial Controller to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying AAT or ACCA or someone who has previously gained practical/relevant experience.
This role is ideal for an individual who is confident working independently, comfortable handling client queries & managing deadlines - but all within a supportive team environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Bookkeeping and management account preparation.
- Preparing VAT returns and MTD submissions.
- Working closely with senior team members with special projects.
- Supporting general practice duties.
Personal Requirements
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA or AAT), or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience of working independently within an accountancy practice or office environment.
- Organised with strong attention to detail whilst managing differing deadlines & priorities.
- Ability to thrive & build strong relationships with clients & within a small team environment.
- Experience in accounting software & a good level of IT competency.
