Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial management strategies to support organizational objectives.
- Oversee financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
- Responsible for accurate VAT and PAYE submissions.
- Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
- Lead financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor and control costs across departments to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Provide leadership in HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and policy development.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive workplace culture that promotes diversity and inclusion.
Skills
- Strong expertise in financial management principles and practices.
- Must have strong knowledge of export sales and zero rated VAT compliance.
- Must be able to work under pressure and oversee a number of small business enterprises.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting standards.
- Knowledge of financial services industry practices is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams and driving organizational change.
- Skilled in financial planning, analysis, and cost control strategies.
- Experience managing accounts payable processes efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively.
