Carmelite Hotel, 53 bedroomed hotel in the city centre.
We are looking for a casual team member (mainly weekends) to join the team to assist in the housekeeping department. Main duties are cleaning the hotel bedrooms to a high standard following a designated check list & in a timely manner.
Common tasks - making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning floors, hoovering, dusting & general cleaning. Over and above the hotel bedrooms the housekeeping department also keep the public areas and corridors clean and tidy.
Experience in hotel cleaning an advantage but not necessary as training will be given. An eye for detail is a must for this role along with flexibility. Typically the hours will be worked between 10am and 3pm at weekends, however there are also occasions there is a requirement out with these hours. We are a 7 day a week operation so there may be other days on offer over and above the weekend depending on business requirements.
