Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and staff spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies to ensure rooms are fully prepared for new guests
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by cleaning fixtures, mirrors, and floors according to established standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department promptly
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests
- Assist with laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels as needed
- Support team members in achieving daily cleanliness goals and uphold the property’s appearance standards
Skills
- Prior experience or familiarity with hospitality standards is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for cleanliness and organization
- Experience in janitorial work or general cleaning roles demonstrates reliability and efficiency
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to understand instructions clearly and report issues effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
