Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to cover maternity leave for approximately 8–9 months, starting January 2027. The successful candidate will bring strong anatomical knowledge and a genuine commitment to client care, playing a key role in assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions that support overall well-being throughout the cover period.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their physical and emotional needs
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on individual assessments and goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions using appropriate techniques and modalities
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, joined-up care
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
- Educate clients and their families about treatment options, self-care strategies, and available resources
- Stay current with developments in the field through continuous professional development
Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in therapy or counselling (e.g., degree in psychology, social work, or a related field)
- Sound understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and demonstrate empathy in all interactions
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
- Previous experience in a therapeutic setting is an advantage but not mandatory
Contract: Fixed-term, approx. 8–9 months, starting January 2027 (maternity cover)
