Hydraulic and Engineering Services Ltd is a versatile engineering company specialising in the repair, supply and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and associated hydraulic equipment relating to machinery, mobile plant, cranes, marine, recycling and many other industrial areas.
We also undertake all general engineering and manufacturing as well as reclamation repairs.
Our engineering team cover a range of disciplines including diagnostic work, new installations, removal and re-installations of components, upgrades, renewals, hose replacement service, and system monitoring.
We are a privately owned company operating within our 35th year with a wealth of experience within the industry through our team of engineers; currently employing 28 personnel across the range of disciplines we operate in.
We are looking to employ a hydraulic fitter, whom would be primarily based in our workshop but occasional site work may be required as the needs of the business, that we can train and develop
Main Responsibilities / Tasks:
· Assembly / fault finding / problem solving undertaking various stripping and fitting processes.
· Basic knowledge of Hydraulic systems would be an advantage.
· Review drawings or instructions to understand specifications.
· Plan the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job.
· On occasions working alongside the site service team on hydraulic and mechanical equipment and machinery on client’s sites around the south east.
