Responsibilities
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, providing a welcoming dining experience.
- Assist with food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and order fulfilment.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards is advantageous.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
- Experience with serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute positively to the team.
