Kebab Station is a premier takeaway destination in Queensferry, Deeside. Specialising in the fusion of authentic Greek cuisine and classic grill favourites. We are looking for a dedicated, experienced Chef to uphold those standards.
We are seeking a candidate with specific expertise in Greek Gyros and traditional Kebabs to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for managing the grill and ensuring every order—from our signature Skepasti to our Piri Piri platters—is prepared to perfection.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and expertly carve Chicken, Pork, and Donner Gyros.
- Manage the flame grill for Souvlaki Skewers, Greek Village Sausages, and Saganaki Cheese.
- Assemble and cook our signature Skepasti (Greek club sandwich).
- Prepare Shawarma on Naan and traditional Kebabs in Pitta.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety at all times.
- Manage prep for Meat Boxes, Salads, and side orders like Halloumi Fries and Seasoned Rice.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in a high-volume kitchen specializing in Greek Gyros or Middle Eastern Kebabs.
- Skills: Experience in meat carving, grill management, and working with traditional Greek ingredients.
- Availability: Must be able to work full-time, including evenings and weekends.
- Efficiency: Ability to remain calm and fast-paced during peak "rush" hours.
- Passion: A genuine interest in Mediterranean flavors and high-quality takeaway service.
