Location: Home working with regular meeting attendance via TEAM's and Zoom.
Salary: £30,000 per annum FTE (£24,400 pro rata).
Hours: 30.5 per week/ 09.00-15.00 Mon-Fri (finishing at 15.30 x 1 per week)

Fusion Fostering is an independent fostering agency committed to providing safe, nurturing, and stable homes for children and young people. We are seeking an organised and highly motivated Panel Administrator to our team for a 12-month maternity cover. This is a key role within the agency, providing administrative support to the fostering panel process and ensuring that records, reports, and compliance information are maintained to the highest standards. The successful candidate will be a confident administrator with excellent minute-taking skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating all aspects of the fostering panel process.
- Preparing, distributing, and quality-checking panel documentation.
- Attending and accurately minuting Fostering Panel meetings.
- Maintaining panel records and ensuring compliance with fostering regulations and agency procedures.
- Supporting KPI monitoring and quality assurance processes.
- Producing reports and management information as required.
- Liaising professionally with social workers, foster carers, panel members, and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the Panel Manager and wider team.
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Ensuring confidentiality and data protection standards are upheld at all times.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Previous administrative experience within a regulated or compliance based environment.
- Excellent minute-taking and report-writing skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- Experience within fostering, children's social care, health, education, or another regulated service.
- Knowledge of fostering regulations, National Minimum Standards, or panel processes.
- Experience of compliance monitoring and quality assurance systems.
