The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-focused Compliance Officer to support and maintain regulatory compliance across our services based in Hemel Hempstead. This is a key role within the organisation, ensuring our services meet all relevant legal, regulatory, and quality standards, including CQC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and internal company policies
- Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews across services
- Support the Registered Manager and management team with action plans and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate compliance records, reports, and documentation
- Prepare the service for CQC inspections and liaise with external regulators where required
- Identify risks and support corrective and preventative actions
- Ensure staff compliance with mandatory training and company procedures
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes, best practice guidance, and sector updates
About You
- Experience in a compliance, quality, or regulatory role (care sector experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards and relevant care legislation
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and support teams
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Full UK driving licence preferred (due to travel requirements)

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
