Receptionist- Care Navigator – GP Surgery (Full Training Provided)
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and reliable Receptionist to join our busy GP surgery team.
About the Role:
You will work in a fast-paced reception area, providing excellent service to patients and supporting the smooth running of the practice.
Main Duties:
- Handling patient enquiries and appointment requests face-to-face, online, and over the phone
- Managing incoming calls efficiently and professionally
- Processing prescription requests and new patient registrations
- Signposting patients to the appropriate healthcare professional or service
- Carrying out a range of administrative tasks to support the practice team
Training:
Full training will be provided — no prior GP surgery experience required.
Shift Patterns: 22-30 hrs p/w
Mornings 7.45 - 13.30pm
- Afternoon: 1:30 pm – 7:00 pm Monday/Thursday/Friday.
- 1.30 pm - 8 pm Tuesday
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confident using computers and online systems
- Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Team player with good attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.71 per hour
