About Us
Victoria and The Cornerhouse Nurseries have proudly served the Harborne community with high-quality childcare for over 20 years. Conveniently located just a short walk from Harborne High Street, our nurseries are ideal for commuters and offer lovely walking routes for the children’s regular outings.
Our team is made up of qualified, experienced professionals who are passionate about early years education. We build strong relationships with the families we work with and maintain a supportive, collaborative team culture. We use the Famly system to efficiently manage staff workload and ensure smooth communication with parents.
Your Role
As a practitioner at Victoria and The Cornerhouse Nurseries, you’ll be trusted to make informed decisions within your room. We hold weekly room meetings to encourage communication with management and to share ideas across the team.
You’ll have access to all the necessary resources and equipment to support your work. We’re looking for someone who can contribute fresh ideas and work both independently and collaboratively. Most importantly, you’ll be enthusiastic about getting involved in children’s activities — from jumping in muddy puddles to racing around the garden!
While you won’t be involved in meal preparation (our on-site chef takes care of that), all staff receive training in Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness. Ongoing training and development opportunities are available to help you grow within your role.
