This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your existing knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling software, work alongside experienced engineers, and develop the technical skills needed for a long-term career in electrical design and engineering.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the design and development of Building Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS) solutions.
- Producing electrical schematics, control panel drawings and technical documentation using 2D and 3D design software.
- Reviewing project specifications, performance briefs and technical documents to develop effective control system designs.
- Working closely with Engineering, Procurement and our In-House Production teams to support the successful delivery of projects.
- Assisting with technical submissions, design reviews and RFIs.
- Developing your knowledge of industry-leading control systems, including Honeywell, Trend and CentraLine.
- Understand both the mechanical and electrical building systems ”HVAC Awareness” and work autonomously with a selection of key clients.
- Contributing to projects from initial design through to manufacture and delivery.
- Ensuring drawings and documentation are accurate, compliant and produced to company and industry standards.
- Working with experienced engineers who will support your technical development and career progression.
Requirements
- Expereince with 2D and 3D modelling software.
- Experience creating detailed schematics and layouts or electrical design would be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
This role is working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm and is office based.
