Overview
McKay Pharmacy is currently seeking a Pharmacy Dispenser for our head office branch in Belfast, situated beside a very busy group of GP practices and with well established relationships within the local community.
Opening hours in the pharmacy are 9.00 am - 6.00 pm from Monday - Friday. We are ideally looking for 24 per week covering the following hours -
Monday - 12-6pm
Tuesday 12-9pm
Wednesday - 12-6pm
Thursday - 12-9pm
Friday 12-6pm
The role will involve working both on the counter dealing with patient queries and retail sales, as well as working in the dispensary helping the pharmacy team.
You would be working alongside a talented and knowledgeable team of Pharmacists and Dispensing Technicians to deliver a range of commissioned pharmacy services and patient care.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience in a busy pharmacy retail role
- Able to deal with high volume dispensing and prescription processing
- IT literate and familiar with Windows based computer systems
- Display excellent attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy
Desirable Criteria:
- Qualified in Dispensing / Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) to Level 2
- Previous experience in a pharmacy
- Working knowledge of McLernons Pharmacy Software System
