Chandlers Roofing Supplies, part of the Independent Builders Merchants Group (IBMG), has been supplying professional roofing materials across the Southeast since 2010. We work closely with roofing contractors, builders, and homeowners, providing expert advice and high-quality roofing products backed by exceptional customer service.
We're looking for a Sales Assistant to join our friendly team at our Tonbridge branch and help support our growing customer base.
Serving trade and retail customers in branch and over the phone
Providing advice on roofing products, pricing, and stock availability
Processing orders, quotations, payments, and returns
Supporting customers with product selection and solutions
Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional trade counter
Assisting with stock control and order fulfilment
Building strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business
Previous experience in a builders' merchant, trade counter, sales, or retail environment would be an advantage
Interest in the roofing, building materials, or construction sector
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good computer skills and confidence using sales systems
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work well in a busy team environment
Product training will be provided, so enthusiasm and a desire to develop your knowledge are important
Week 1 Monday to Friday | 07:00 16:30
Week 2 Monday to Friday | 07:00 16:30
Saturday | 07:00 11:00
