Post: Higher Needs Floating Support Senior Service Coordinator
Hours: Full Time Post –37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed Term / Maternity Cover until 30/09/2026
Salary Scale & Range: Grade E £29,691 per annum
Location: 162 Pennywell Road, Bristol.
The Higher Needs Floating Support Service is a commissioned service working with people in temporary accommodation or at risk of homelessness across a variety of settings. The team work closely with the local authority, health, treatment and specialist support providers to improve outcomes and work towards more settled accommodation for those facing multiple disadvantage
As a Senior Service Coordinator, you will assist the Team Managers in ensuring the provision of high quality, effective and comprehensive support to clients. Responsibilities will include providing day to day leadership. promoting effective team working and communication and supporting the team to engage and support the client group in leading their journeys through maximising their choice and control over the support they receive.
To support with line management responsibilities.
To support with managing service waiting lists, allocations and HSR.
To support with elements of the contract, including service coordination, monitoring and reporting and liaising with commissioners and partner organisations.
You will;

Have previous experience in line management or supervisory role

Be experienced in supporting people facing multiple disadvantages.

Have some experience in improving housing outcomes for people who have been homeless.

Be great at building trust with those you work with

Have compassion, empathy and passion for supporting others

Be IT literate and be able to record and report information

Have confidence lone working in the community.

Have the ability to travel across Bristol
