Child Care Assistant / Support Worker – Home Based
We are looking for a caring, energetic and reliable person to support our wonderful 14-year-old son, who has learning difficulties.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work in our family home, providing one-to-one care and support in a safe, fun and engaging environment.
The role includes:
- Supporting our son after school, during evenings and at weekends.
- Planning and taking part in fun, engaging activities suited to his interests and abilities.
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect.
- Helping to create a happy, positive and stimulating home environment.
- Building a trusting relationship with our son and family.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Kind, patient and compassionate.
- Physically fit and active, with the energy to participate in walks, play and other activities.
- Reliable, flexible and committed.
- Confident supporting a child with additional needs (experience is essential).
- Able to communicate well and work as part of a family team.

Hours are typically after school, evenings and weekends, (school holidays) with flexibility by mutual agreement.
