Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Adjustable Chair Assembler & Upholstery Tacker to join our production team.
The Role
You will be responsible for assembling, upholstering, and finishing our bespoke electrically operated adjustable chairs to a high standard. The role involves fitting and testing electrical components, routing cables correctly to ensure safe operation, and ensuring every chair meets our quality standards before leaving the factory.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electrically operated adjustable chairs.
- Fit upholstery covers, foam, and trims to a high standard.
- Install and connect electrical components, including motors, handsets, transformers, and wiring.
- Route and secure electrical cables correctly to ensure safe operation and prevent damage during movement of the chair.
- Test the operation of electrical functions and carry out final quality inspections.
- Work from production specifications and build sheets.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Work effectively as part of a busy manufacturing team to meet production targets.
About You
Previous experience in upholstery, furniture assembly, or tacking is preferred, particularly with adjustable or electrically operated furniture, although full training will be provided for the right candidate.

- Have excellent attention to detail.

- Be able to follow assembly instructions and wiring routes accurately.
