Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous hotel experience and a passion for hospitality are highly desirable, as this role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional guest service and satisfaction.
5 days a week on a rotating basis will include weekends …start time 10am-2:30pm
More hours are available if desired
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages in guest rooms
- Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred
- Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, health standards, and safety regulations is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and efficiency
