Optimum RX Lens Specialists are one of the fastest growing independent manufacturers of spectacle lenses in the country, we work with opticians all over the UK providing specialist lenses with outstanding customer service. Due to our recent significant growth, we have a vacancy within our Quality Control Department with an immediate start date available.
Your role involves working as part of a team in Quality Control, checking the quality of the lenses we produce to ensure they meet our industry standards. Along with assisting with the dispatch of our products. No previous experience is required, all we ask is you are reliable, with a willingness to learn, are a strong team player and have an excellent eye for detail.
With a starting salary of £13.45 per hour with opportunities for growth, the working hours are 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday. Please note that the shift pattern is subject to change due to the needs of the business.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
· Must have a keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy.
· Good organisation and time management, as well as a structured, methodical approach to work.
· Comfortable working with defined processes, targets and deadlines.
Desirable:
· Experience in a manufacturing, production or operational environment.
