Community Care Worker
Location: Fylde and Wyre

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to join our small, friendly team in the Fylde and Wyre area. This role is vital in supporting individuals to live comfortably and independently in their own homes, while delivering truly person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference every day.

What You’ll Do
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support people with meals tailored to their preferences.
- Assist with medication in line with individual care plans.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and build trusting relationships.
- Help with light domestic tasks to maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all care provided.
- Report any changes or concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
- Encourage engagement in meaningful activities that support mental and emotional wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, and other professionals to ensure holistic, person‑centred support.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in care or support roles is beneficial, but full training is provided.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to remain calm and supportive during challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work across the Fylde and Wyre area.
- Commitment to working alternate weekends on a rota.
- A valid driving licence and access to your own car for every shift.
- Availability to work a combination of 7am–2pm and 4pm–10pm shifts, or just 4pm-10pm.
