That's why we're pleased to tell you about a 12 month secondment opportunity to join our Intermediary Distribution team as Telephone Business Development Team Manager. This is a fundamental role for the Society as you'll be responsible for ensuring we create and build successful relationships with mortgage brokers who currently bring in over 95% of our mortgage business.
How you'll make a difference:
This role will play a key part in leading the Telephone Business Development and Web Chat team, supporting service delivery to mortgage intermediaries and helping drive strong team performance.
You'll be responsible for leading, coaching and supporting a team of Telephone Business Development Managers and Web Chat Advisors, ensuring they deliver a high-quality service to brokers, firms and networks. Working closely with colleagues across distribution, operations, product, marketing, quality, risk and compliance, you'll help maintain effective service coverage, identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of wider business priorities.

What will you bring to the role?
Proven experience in managing and developing teams, ideally within a fast-paced, telephone-based environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to role model, care, connect and coach to drive performance, change, positive engagement and deliver against challenging objectives.Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and perform under pressure.
High levels of energy, drive and enthusiasm, with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
Knowledge of the mortgage intermediary market and an understanding of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements would be advantageous.
