About the Role
We're running a pop-up mobile unit at St James Quarter in Edinburgh throughout July and August, and we're looking for friendly, outgoing promotional staff to join our team. This is a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys working with the public, has bags of energy, and wants flexible summer work in one of Edinburgh's busiest retail destinations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Engaging with members of the public and representing our brand
- Promoting products/services and answering customer questions
- Helping to create a welcoming atmosphere at the unit
- Stocking up and carrying out stock checks as part of the routine
- Assisting with set-up and pack-down as needed
- Reporting back on customer feedback and daily activity
What We're Looking For
- A confident, approachable manner and great communication skills
- Reliability and good timekeeping
- Flexibility is essential — as this is temporary, shifts may vary from week to week, and we'll need staff who can be adaptable and help cover shifts at short notice when needed
- Comfortable being on your feet and working in a busy environment
- Previous promotional, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not essential — full briefing provided
- Availability across July and August
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
