FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER
To provide respite to a young lady in a wheelchair, providing support and assistance with healthcare, daily living tasks, household tasks, maintaining a clean home, and monitoring and supervision. Providing support in the home and out in community with current provider, experience of working with special needs desirable but not necessary as full training will be given.
personality, common sense and the ability to work flexibly on your own initiatives within a lively family home are the qualities most needed.
Should be prepared to participate in helping her to develop her social and personal skills and to keep her entertained. Help keep her environment clean and healthy.
You will be required to deliver this support to a high standard under the direction of and in collaboration with the employer. Good sense of humor is a must! The family home is a non-smoking environment.
12 hours per week includes day and evening with the possibility of some additional hours as and when required which may include evenings and weekends.
