Class 1 HGV Driver – Southampton
£18.00 per hour | Guaranteed 10 hours' pay per shift | Block Bookings | Dock Work
We are currently looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our Southampton operation.
This is ongoing dock work with block bookings available every week, providing regular and consistent work.
Pay & Benefits
- £18.00 per hour
- Guaranteed 10 hours' pay per shift
- Average shift length of 10–15 hours, depending on curtains and container work
- No handball
- Weekend overtime available
- Weekend overtime shifts are generally 4–5 hours, but you will still receive 10 hours' pay
- £40 tax-free night-out allowance when a night out is required
- Regular ongoing work
- ADR drivers welcome
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 experience
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- DP World card required
- Reliable and professional approach
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations
- Previous dock/container experience would be advantageous
