The Foundry is an independent family business, growing each year with new ideas and projects. It has become a vibrant hub for craft beer, award winning spirits, great food and excellent service. We are looking for a friendly, pro-active and reliable individual to assist the General Manager.
About You:
- Experienced and Confident: You have a proven track record in a similar position in a busy restaurant environment (minimum 1 year). You're genuinely excited about craft beer, spirits, and creating a memorable guest experience.
- Friendly and Approachable: You have a warm and welcoming personality that makes guests and colleagues feel comfortable.
- Supportive: Help the Manager in developing menus, planning events, and implementing promotional activities as well as working well within the team.
- Social Media Savvy: You're competent in using social media platforms for business purposes.
- Pro-Active: You demonstrate initiative in difficult situations as well as the general day to day tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
- Lead the team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities.
- Ensure the business operates within all relevant legal guidelines.
