Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery/Collection Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods between locations, ensuring timely deliveries and collections. This role requires excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and a customer-focused approach to service. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting the efficient operation of our logistics and warehouse functions.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, in compliance with all road safety regulations
- Deliver goods to clients and collection points across designated routes
- Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Collect payments or signatures where necessary and maintain accurate delivery records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and inventory management when required
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional attitude and addressing client queries courteously
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving commercial driving
- Valid full driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks in a warehouse setting is desirable
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area of operation
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritise deliveries effectively
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of heavy lifting and extended periods of driving

Pay: £2,420.00-£2,860.00 per month
