We are looking for hardworking and reliable Seasonal Grounds Team Members to help maintain and enhance our beautiful resort environment throughout the busy holiday season.
This is an active outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is happy working in all weather conditions —
You’ll play an important role in ensuring the resort looks its best for guests and owners during our busiest periods.
The Role
As part of the Grounds Team, you’ll assist with the day-to-day upkeep of the resort grounds, landscaped areas, and public spaces, helping maintain the high presentation standards expected across the resort.
You’ll work alongside the wider grounds and maintenance teams carrying out a variety of outdoor tasks to ensure the resort remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
Responsibilities
- Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Strimming and edging around lodges and public areas
- General grounds maintenance and landscaping
- Weeding, planting, and maintaining flower beds and shrubbery
- Litter picking and keeping outdoor areas clean and presentable
- Assisting with seasonal maintenance projects
- Supporting the wider grounds and maintenance teams where required
- Using grounds maintenance equipment safely and responsibly
- Helping ensure guest-facing areas remain safe and well maintained at all times
Health & Safety
Health and safety is an important part of this role. You will be expected to:
- Follow safe working practices at all times
- Use tools and equipment safely and correctly
- Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly
- Help maintain a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and contractors
- Comply with company policies and procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous grounds maintenance, gardening, landscaping, or outdoor work experience is beneficial but not essential
- A positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A practical and proactive approach to work
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays, and busy holiday periods
- Provisional/Full UK driving licence (essential)

Working Hours
This role requires flexibility due to the seasonal nature of the hospitality industry and will include weekends, bank holidays, and peak holiday periods.
