The Social Responsibility & Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility (SR & EDIA) Team in the Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Engagement Projects Officer to coordinate and deliver high-quality outreach and engagement projects, contributing to the Public, Civic, and Schools Engagement strand of our Social Responsibility strategy.
The Engagement Projects Officer will have responsibility for coordinating and delivering high-quality outreach and engagement projects in particular an externally funded Aramco project supporting young people (age 14-18) into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) study and careers.
We are looking for someone with experience in shaping and delivering events for schools or public audiences, strong project management skills, and a demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
Interviews will be held week commencing 12th October.
Key responsibilities include:

Project management of an externally funded public, civic, and schools engagement projects.

Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including acting as the point of contact for partner organisations.

Leading the planning, organisation, and coordination of project-related events for young people, including all logistics and supervision.

Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on projects and activities.
