Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our gardens and landscapes. If you have a passion for gardening and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- Plant, cultivate, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Prune and shape trees and hedges to ensure they are healthy and aesthetically pleasing
- Weed and mulch garden beds to prevent weed growth and retain moisture
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed to promote plant health
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute landscaping projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred
- Knowledge of different plants, flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in gardening
- Understanding of proper watering techniques and irrigation systems
- Ability to identify common pests and diseases affecting plants
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
