Loch Ness Clansman Hotel are seeking a friendly and professional Night Porter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the premises, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities
- Assist guests overnight
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and service zones
- Support the front desk team with various duties as required, including answering calls with professional phone etiquette
- Ensure all communal spaces are tidy, safe, and presentable at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
Skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous
- Strong guest service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is beneficial
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
