We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team at Rhumba. The ideal candidate will have experience in speciality coffee and a passion for food and coffee. They should be able to deliver a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee (and other drinks) following recipes with precision
- Provide excellent customer service, taking and fulfilling orders efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation standards of the restaurant
- Operate coffee machines and equipment effectively
- Working seamlessly with other FOH, as well as Kitchen staff
Requirements:
- Proficient in coffee preparation techniques, including making espresso-based drinks
- Excellent latte art pouring skills
- Strong time management to handle multiple orders simultaneously
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Helpful and friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Ability to work well under pressure - this is a fast paced environment!
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
