We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Social Workers to join Adult Social Care at Trafford Council as we continue on our Improving Lives Every Day (ILED) journey. With a new leadership team and a strong focus on quality, learning and positive change, this is a great time to join us.
We are recruiting across several service areas, including neighbourhood teams, hospital discharge and learning disability. Wherever you work, you will support adults, carers and families to live well, stay independent and remain connected to their communities.
You will use strengthsbased practice, build effective relationships with partners, and contribute to safe, timely and proportionate decisionmaking. You will be part of a supportive and forwardlooking service where your professional judgement is valued and your development is encouraged.
You will be a qualified Social Worker who is passionate about improving the lives of adults, carers and families. You will bring professional curiosity, strong communication skills and a commitment to personcentred, strengthsbased practice.
You should have experience of completing proportionate assessments, developing creative support plans and working confidently with risk. You will understand relevant legislation, safeguarding responsibilities and the importance of timely, evidencebased decisionmaking.
You will work well with colleagues across health, housing, voluntary and community services, building positive relationships that support seamless pathways for the people we work with. You will be reflective, motivated and open to learning as part of our ILED improvement journey.
If you share our values and want to be part of a service that is growing, improving and ambitious for its residents, we would love to hear from you.
