About the Role
We're looking for an Appointee and Deputy Support Officer to join our dedicated team, helping to manage the financial affairs of vulnerable adults who are unable to do so themselves.
From processing payments and maintaining accurate records to collaborating with social workers, care providers and families, you'll play a key role in ensuring people receive the support they need while safeguarding their finances.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has good organisational skills and communicates confidently and effectively.
- Can manage a varied workload and work on their own initiative.
- Has experience using Microsoft Office and computerised systems.
- Has a customer-focused approach and strong attention to detail.
- Can deal empathetically with sensitive issues to achieve positive outcomes.
Additional Information:
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent qualifications, skills or experience) are essential.
- An Enhanced DBS check, including Adult’s Barred List, is required.
- The role includes joint visits to people’s homes and other locations as required.

This role is based in the UK. Home Office guidance states that candidates must evidence their right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment, either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa.
