Budget Waste Management is a growing waste management and recycling company committed to delivering reliable, professional services while maximising recycling and reducing waste sent to landfill.
We are looking for hardworking and reliable Picking Line Operatives to join our team at our Waste Processing Facility in Honeybourne.
The Role
Working as part of our recycling team, you will be responsible for manually sorting materials on our picking line to ensure recyclable materials are separated correctly and our processing operation runs efficiently.
This is a physically active, hands-on role working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting recyclable materials from the picking line
- Removing contamination from recyclable waste streams
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping across the site
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working closely with colleagues to keep production running efficiently
- Reporting any issues or hazards to supervisors

- Previous waste or recycling experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
Working Hours
Summer Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 5:00pm
Winter Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 7:30am – 4:00pm
