We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Recruitment Administrator to support the fast‑paced hiring of Security Officers across our operations. This role is central to delivering a smooth, professional recruitment experience for both candidates and hiring managers. You will use applicant tracking systems and social media platforms to source, engage, and manage potential security personnel. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in recruitment within the security sector.
Responsibilities
- Drive candidate attraction by managing social media activity, job boards, and other lead‑generation channels to bring in high‑quality Security Officer applicants.
- Use applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms to record, track, and manage candidate information accurately.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand site requirements and support the full recruitment cycle—from advertising roles to onboarding new officers.
- Maintain up‑to‑date candidate records and ensure the recruitment database is accurate and compliant.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates, keeping them informed throughout the hiring process.
- Assist with screening applications, arranging interviews, and preparing interview documentation.
- Contribute to improving recruitment strategies to strengthen the quality and volume of officer hires.
- Ensure all recruitment activity complies with company policies, GDPR, and industry standards.
- Oversee vetting and compliance checks in line with BS7858 requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience using applicant tracking systems is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with candidates and internal teams.
- Familiarity with social media tools used for recruitment and lead generation.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and general HR best practice.
- Experience in candidate relationship management within recruitment or HR is an advantage.
- Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple tasks in a busy recruitment environment.
Pay: £14.24 per hour
