Warehouse Operative/Returns
The Fulfilment People – Newark-on-Trent
The Fulfilment People are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative/Returns to join our busy 3PL warehouse team in Newark-on-Trent.
This is a full-time position working 39 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:00 and Friday 08:30 to 16:00. The successful candidate will be expected to work these hours to support the operational requirements of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer returns accurately and efficiently.
- Inspecting returned products and assessing their condition.
- Quality checking items before they are returned to stock.
- Steaming, folding and re-bagging clothing where required.
- Applying barcodes and updating product information.
- Ensuring returned stock is processed in line with company procedures.
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assisting with goods-in, stock replenishment and stock control activities.
- Supporting stock takes and inventory checks as required.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties to support daily operations.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Products handled may include:
- Footwear
- Handbags and accessories
- Clothing
- Children's toys
About You
- Previous returns, warehouse or quality control experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organised and hardworking.
- Comfortable carrying out repetitive tasks while maintaining high standards.
