Kitchen Assistant
Bilton House is a Christian Care home for Older people.
You will join a vastly experienced team at Bilton House, assisting maintaining a high standard within the home.
As kitchen assistant
You will be required to cover for the cook/chef as required preparing nutritious homemade with the use of fresh produce, traditional food.
Some knowledge in diets to include the following is an advantage but training would be given as needed. Vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, gluten free and pureed, soft bite diets
Part of the job is supporting the Chef/cook as needed, some baking washing up, serving food, cleaning day to day and deep cleans, stock checks and rotation , supporting residents in the dining room as needed.

We are able to offer 28 hours over 4/5 shifts a week which will involve working a rota over a 7 day period, and includes working alternative weekends which also include bank holidays.
Currently times 7am - 14.00 or afternoon shifts as required to cover sickness and holidays these times to be arranged .
Overtime may be able if interested.
Rota's are not structured and flexibility is required.
Candidates should be passionate about delivering a high standard to be able to work in a team as well as working alone.
Relevant qualifications an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
Candidates are only being sought who are living in the UK at this time and have the relevant right to work paperwork as applicable.
