We are working with a welcoming primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham (W6) who are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well‑organised KS2 team, delivering high‑quality teaching within a positive and structured learning environment.
Location: Hammersmith & Fulham, W6
Start Date: Late September / October 2026
Role: Year 5 Class Teacher
Contract: Full‑time, maternity cover
Duration: Ongoing, potentially until January 2027
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30-3:30pm
Pay: M3-UPS3 (Inner London, dependent on experience)
The Role:
- Teach a Year 5 class within a structured KS2 setting
- Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Support pupils’ academic and personal development
- Work closely with colleagues and leadership
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS2 (Year 5 preferred)
- Strong classroom management and planning skills
- Confident delivering high‑quality lessons
- Reliable and able to commit to the duration of the cover
