Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to cover maternity leave at our happy nursery setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children aged from birth to five years. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a small private day nursery with an emphasis on team working.
- Plan and deliver fun, engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development
- Support children's learning through play-based approaches
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nappy changes, and sleep times
Qualifications
- Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Early Years Educator or equivalent)
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable
This is currently a maternity leave position for 12 months but other vacancies may arise during this time you can be considered for.
Pay: £13.25-£13.75 per hour
