We're going through a very busy period for our airline site based at Heathrow - we are looking for freelance chefs who can work with us on a temporary basis to cover 2-3 months worth of work across our British Airways site at Heathrow.
It may well extend beyond this point and you will remain on our system for continuous future work across all sites.
We are also looking for full-time, permanent chefs across our BA business at Heathrow.
Perhaps you have worked in a hotel as a chef, another airline lounge or a restaurant and you would like a change of atmosphere and work within the buzz of an airport environment, for a well-known company like us! Each day is different for our chefs when you work for us and we have a friendly, motivated team who like to work hard but have fun as well.
What you will be doing:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes according to the menu specifications
Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
Things you should know:
Salary is flexible Dependant on your experience
Hours are on a shift basis, full-time
You will work early or late shifts that are organized by a rota - shifts will always be between 04:30AM and 10:30PM

To work at the airport, you must have a full 5 year reference history (education, work or gap reference details)
You must have proof of rights to work in the UK
You must be available for full-time hours and be able to work any shifts between 04:30AM and 10:30PM - including weekends where required.
