We are searching for a passionate, creative, bold and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join our 'Good' setting - West Bromwich, to continue providing exceptional care and education to young child.
The position will be fully supported by the Director and Area Manager
REPORTS TO: Director and Area Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee and maintain high quality standards of education and care for all children.
· Manage the day to day activities of the setting.
· Take full responsibility ensuring the setting is a nurturing, caring and safe environment for children, staff and visitors.
· Promote and maintain parent partnerships to enable children to reach their full potential.
· Be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Director and Area Manager.
· Provide professional leadership and management to the nursery and its staff.
· Motivating and supporting staff development and be a key part of any training days.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- NNEB or BTEC Nat Dip or CACHE Dip or NVQ level 3 in Childcare or SVQ held for at least 3 years (essential)
- BA Degree or Leadership and Management qualification (Desirable)
- At least 2 years managerial experience within a nursery environment.
- Registration with the DBS Update service (desirable)
