We’re an independent hospitality group based on Telegraph Road in Heswall, operating three vibrant neighbouring venues:
- Silk Rd – our busy tapas bar
- Voisin – our neighbourhood café and bar
- Vecino – our recently opened Mexican taverna
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate chef to join the team and support our two head chefs to operate our multiple kitchens here in Heswall.

The Role
As Sous chef/Junior sous chef you will be responsible for supporting the head chef with the following:
- Delivering great quality food to company standards
- Working as Part of a team to ensure a smooth service and well-maintained kitchen.
- Ensuring all H&S procedures are in place and up to date on your shift
- Ideally you will have previous experience working in a high- volume restaurant, preferably cooking with fresh ingredients.
- Good level of personal hygiene and food safety standards
- Passionate about delivering high quality food and maintaining high standards.
- Previous experience running service including expo and kitchen shifts, openings and closes, but training can be provided.
- You’re a positive ambassador, hungry for a challenge and keen to make a real difference
- Flexibility to react to business demands
