Overview
A Mission-Led Marketing Role with Real Impact
Are you a digital marketer and events co-ordinator who wants your work to mean something?
EPIC Entrepreneurs is Community Interest Company (CIC), dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young entrepreneurs, supporting start-ups and helping individuals transform ideas into successful businesses. Every entrepreneur we support contributes to our mission of creating opportunities, building confidence and driving economic growth within communities.
We're looking for an exceptional Digital Marketing & Event Coordinator to help lead the next stage of our journey.
This isn't a traditional marketing role.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference, enjoys building communities, loves generating fresh ideas, and wants to help increase EPIC's awareness and impact across the UK. You'll have the opportunity to influence our growth, shape our marketing strategy, mentor entrepreneurs, organise the annual EPIC Young Business Awards and become an ambassador for everything EPIC stands for.
If you're looking for purpose as well as professional challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As Digital Marketing & Community Growth Coordinator, you'll take ownership of EPIC's digital marketing, online presence and community engagement activities, specifically the annual EPIC Young Business Awards and quarterly graduation ceremonies.
Working alongside the team, you'll deliver our marketing strategy while bringing forward innovative ideas that increase awareness, strengthen our brand and expand our reach nationally.
You'll have the freedom to test new ideas, lead campaigns and make a genuine contribution to the future growth of EPIC.
Your Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Manage and develop the EPIC website using Wix, ensuring content is engaging, accurate and regularly updated.
- Manage and maintain the EPIC app, ensuring it remains current, informative and user-friendly.
- Plan, create and deliver engaging content across all social media platforms.
- Develop and manage email marketing campaigns that engage our members, promote opportunities and strengthen relationships.
- Produce creative digital content including graphics, videos, blogs, promotional materials and impact reports to our funders.
- Monitor marketing performance using analytics and recommend improvements based on data and insights.
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging and tone of voice across all channels.
Community Growth & Entrepreneur Support
Marketing at EPIC is about people as much as promotion.
You'll play an active role in supporting our entrepreneurial community by:
- Delivering a monthly Marketing Masterclass for young entrepreneurs.
- Mentoring entrepreneurs, helping them improve their marketing, grow their confidence and develop sustainable businesses.
- Working with our members to showcase success stories and celebrate achievements.
- Supporting the promotion of the EPIC Young Business programme, events, partnerships and support initiatives.
- Building relationships that strengthen our growing entrepreneurial network.
Strategic Growth
We're looking for someone who doesn't simply deliver marketing activity, but someone who actively helps shape the future of EPIC.
You will:
- Deliver and continuously review our marketing strategy.
- Identify opportunities to increase awareness of EPIC across the UK.
- Develop innovative campaigns and partnerships that grow our reach.
- Keep up to date with digital marketing trends and introduce new ideas.
- Take ownership of projects from concept through to evaluation.
- Bring creativity, initiative and energy into everything you do.
About You
You'll be someone who:
- Is passionate about creating positive social impact.
- Believes in the power of entrepreneurship to change lives.
- Wants to work for a purpose-driven Community Interest Company rather than simply promote products or services.
- Has experience in digital marketing, communications and events co-ordination.
- Is confident managing websites, ideally with experience of Wix.
- Has experience in social media channels and email marketing campaigns.
- Creates engaging written and visual content.
- Enjoys presenting, training and inspiring others.
- Is proactive and organised.
- Brings fresh ideas and enjoys making them become reality.
- Wants to play a meaningful role in the continued growth and success of EPIC.
Desirable Experience
- Experience managing or updating mobile apps.
- SEO and Google Analytics.
- Graphic design.
- Experience working within a social enterprise, charity, education or business support environment.
- Experience working with entrepreneurs, start-ups or SMEs.
Why Join EPIC?
At EPIC, you'll be joining much more than a small but passionate team, you'll become part of a movement that's changing lives through entrepreneurship.
You'll have the opportunity to:

- Influence the future direction and growth of EPIC.
- Deliver inspiring masterclasses and mentor ambitious entrepreneurs.
- Work in a supportive, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
- Enjoy flexible hybrid working from home with monthly in person teams meetings in or around the Midlands.
- Bring your ideas to life and see the direct impact of your work.
